Crap

Well Crap.

This is the part of being a sports fan that sucks. Being a fan doesn’t reward even temperament. It doesn’t reward responsible thinking. It’s an all or nothing proposition. You’re all in.

We were all in, and now were out. Big let down. Still proud of my team for their impressive season. Go Indians!

Well that kind of takes all the wind out of my sails to write too awful much. Better luck next time.

Freakin’ Seriously?

What did I tell you?

I had to work late again tonight. I’m pretty tired as it has been a long week. I went to bed about 10 minute early last night. No ill effects. No real bonuses to sleep either.

I was working for about 12 hours. I came home and sat down to eat some dinner and watch a little TV. I decided to turn on the end of the baseball game. Extra innings.  So I change the channel and come back later. Still going.

At this point it’s about 10 or 10:15. I can barely stay awake. Tonight, I’ve got some things to check on, so I was planning to stay up until my usual time. Yet, I’m dozing on the couch.

This is ridiculous. I’m just going to sleep for like 12 hours both nights this weekend. I’ll show you Circadian Rhythm and Biological Clock.

Going to a Baseball game tonight!

We have previously been rained out, and this is a make up game for it. It’s been a little rainy all day. This is unfortunate.

Regardless, we will persevere! Fun will be had! Hot Dogs will be eaten!

I’m really just trying to be as obnoxiously positive as possible here.

EDIT: Posting this to yesterday as a testament to my actually having written what I did then.

Who Writes Short Posts? I Write Short Posts!

Well, today anyway. I know most of my posts here aren’t really what most people would classify as ‘short’.

Tonight, I will be busy! While I’m sure I would have a tiny bit of time late, why put it off? Tonight is a baseball game!

We’re going as an early present for The Wife’s birthday. She’s a big sports fan, and she is actually totally responsible for any sports enthusiasm I might exhibit. Baseball is definitely her favorite though. She could live without pro football, and basketball is a take it or leave it activity  for her. She enjoys college football quite a bit, but nothing beats baseball.

So that’s where we’re going tonight. It’s a lot of fun going to the game, but it’s just far enough away that we don’t get to go as often as we’d like. They are really trying to keep cost down, so that really isn’t as big a deterrent to us as the time. We both just get pretty busy right around this time of year, and between the drive there, the time at the game and the drive back, sometimes we just can’t make it. Especially since if we want to be on time, I have to leave work early. I can do that sometimes, but not as often as we’d like to go.

Quick subject change, remember yesterday when I said I might have a surprise for you? Well I do! But not until Monday. Mwahaahahaha. Remember, don’t actually peel your eyeballs. I’ll feel bad. Do, however, get totally excited for Monday’s post.

On that note, I will see you next week!
